COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENTWelcome! The Community Development Department is responsible for protecting, enhancing, and expanding the Hughson community's physical, environmental, social, and economic resources. This Department consists of four divisions: Economic Development, Housing, Parks & Recreation, and the Hughson Redevelopment Agency. The Economic Development Division works to stimulate new investment in the City as well as working closely with businesses owners to promote business retention and expansion. Hughson’s Housing Programs offer both a First-Time Home Buyer program and an Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program. The Parks & Recreation and Senior Activities Department has various activates geared to every segment of Hughson Active community. The Hughson Redevelopment Agency works in partnership with the community to revitalize Hughson’s Redevelopment Project Area.
