I am proud to present my 24 years of law enforcement experience to become the next Chief of Police in Hughson. I am committed to utilizing my knowledge, training, and abilities to serve as your Chief in the Hughson community. I am especially looking forward to partnering with our members of City Council, Chamber of Commerce, Faith based leaders, Board of Education/ Superintendent, and most importantly showing our schools that we are partners in the community and not just enforcement.

I started my Law Enforcement career in 1998 in the State of Connecticut. In 2003, I moved to the Central Valley and continued my Law Enforcement career with the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office in 2004.

I have been with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s for 19 years and during this time I held many assignments.

  • Canine Unit *by far was my favorite with all the community outreach
  • Dive team member and team leader
  • Air support Sergeant / Tactical Flight Officer
  • Community car for Salida
  • Community Resource Deputy-Del Rio
  • Homicide Detective for the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department
  • Detective Sergeant overseeing General crimes, CAC, DV, StanCatt, Rural Crimes, High Tech, and Crime analysts
  • Interim Deputy Director of Stanislaus SR911
  • Office of Emergency Services / Stanislaus Threat Assessment Center
  • Patrol Watch Commander
  • Chief Deputy Coroner

I am married and have 3 children, 1 dog and 2 cats. I have a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California Coast University. I recently graduated from Police Executive Research Forum’s Senior Management Institute for Police (SMIP) class 86. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, especially mountain biking!
